About Kasey

I was born on November 16, 2008. I tried to breathe on my own, but couldn't so the neonatologist put a tube down my throat and hooked me to a machine called an oscillator/ventilator that expanded my lungs so I could breath. It was determined that I had a life threading defect called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia or CDH for short. For 33 days mommy and daddy were by my side constantly, but on December 19, 2008 I grew my wings.
